Installation
Add FewTone UI components to a Next.js project with the shadcn CLI, or copy them by hand. Either way, the source ends up in your project.
Requirements
- Next.js with the App Router
- React 19
- Tailwind CSS v4
1. Set up shadcn
If your project does not use shadcn yet, run its init command. It creates components.json and the cn helper.
npx shadcn@latest init2. Add the FewTone registry
Add the @fewtone namespace to the registries field in components.json:
{
"registries": {
"@fewtone": "https://ui.fewtone.com/r/{name}.json"
}
}3. Add a component
npx shadcn@latest add @fewtone/buttonThe component is written to components/ui, with its dependencies installed. Import it like any other file in your project.
Manual installation
Every component page has a Manual tab with the dependencies to install and the full source to copy. Paste it into your project and update the import paths.
